“Captain Marvel” composer Pinar Toprak — the first woman to score a high-profile Marvel movie — said her hiring has the potential to impact children globally.
“The world only changes by example. It doesn’t change by preaching,” Toprak said during Variety’s inaugural Music for Screens Summit on Tuesday. “The more little kids in Turkey, or other places like that, can see me do this, they can actually start believing, ‘Oh, that’s possible.’”
